UNIQLO T-shirt & Tote Bag Collaboration
Client: Uniqlo Japan (Itabashi city Hasune location)
Tools: Hand-drawn, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
Collaborated with the first UNIQLO large store in Itabashi Ward designing an exclusive T-shirt available only at the Itabashi Ward Hasune Store. Inspired by the deer that roamed Itabashi Ward during the Edo period, the illustration captures their essence in an origami style.
Historical information was also gathered from the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and consultations from Mr. Hosoi at the Itabashi Ward Folklore Museum for the final design. Given UNIQLO's broad appeal across all ages and genders, we aimed to create a design that is easy for everyone to incorporate into their wardrobe. Therefore, the design features simple shapes and colors.
A matching tote bag to complement the T-shirt, incorporating the deer motif. The inspiration for the print design comes from a female deer in Itabashi Children's Zoo serving as the central theme.
